Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern all sales and export transactions conducted by Nordic Seafood Export AS (Org. No. 932 103 656), Oslo, Norway. By placing an order or entering into a trade agreement with us, the buyer accepts these terms in full.

All product specifications — including species, grade, weight range, packaging, and labelling — are confirmed in writing on the proforma invoice before each order is placed. Specifications not stated on the proforma invoice are not guaranteed.

All prices are quoted in USD or EUR unless otherwise agreed. Prices are valid for the period stated on the proforma invoice. Nordic Seafood Export AS reserves the right to adjust prices if market conditions change materially before the order is confirmed.

New buyers are required to pay 100% of the invoice value in advance by bank transfer (T/T) before production or shipment begins. Payment details are provided on the proforma invoice. Orders are not confirmed until full payment is received and cleared.

The applicable Incoterm (Incoterms 2020) is stated on the proforma invoice and commercial invoice for each shipment. Risk and responsibility transfer at the point defined by the agreed Incoterm. Nordic Seafood Export AS is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, port congestion, or events outside our control.

The buyer must inspect the goods upon arrival and notify Nordic Seafood Export AS of any quality claims within 24 hours of delivery, supported by photographic evidence and a written report. Claims submitted after this period will not be accepted. Nordic Seafood Export AS is not responsible for quality deterioration caused by improper handling or storage after delivery.

Nordic Seafood Export AS is not liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or transport disruptions.

These terms and conditions are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes arising from transactions with Nordic Seafood Export AS shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Oslo District Court (Oslo tingrett).
